For over 40 years Cobra Seats has been manufacturing exclusively in the United Kingdom, earning a reputation that unites innovative technology, quality of design and functional elegance.
It’s a reputation built on passion. In the 1960’s Len Dunsford was acknowledged as one of the country’s best vehicle trimmers – his work graced racing cockpits used by names like Moss, McQueen and Clark.
Nowadays modern heroes place their trust in Cobra’s ability to combine the very highest safety standards with weight saving technology… and Cobra is still a family run company – grandson Mark, who is Managing Director, shares his father’s and grandfather’s “hands on” passion for the art of building the finest seats and car interiors.

Introducing our newest version of our Nogaro - The Speedster.
All the functionality and comfort of our Nogaro but with the perfect aesthetic for your classic car!
The Speedster features the same profile as our Nogaro but with a lower back.
Minimises the compromises normally associated when fitting race seats to a regularly used road car, or when wanting to fit the Nogaro to a classic car.
At Cobra Seats there is no better feeling than to see teams and drivers who have chosen to use our seats win trophies … and without being immodest, we have experienced an awful lot of highs over the last couple of decades.
This year it was One Motorsport with Starline Racing and their driver Josh Cook who kept the feel-good factor flowing.
First things first – congratulations to Ash Sutton on claiming his fourth BTCC Driver’s Championship: A friend of Cobra Seats and a credit to the sport, his style of racing is exhilarating and he is a very deserving champion.
Congratulations, too, to Tom Ingram and to Jake Hill who made this year’s chase for the BTCC Drivers Championship such an enthralling battle that went down to the final meeting of the season.
In a day of ups and downs for drivers using Cobra seats, four times BTCC Drivers Champion Colin Turkington won the third race of the day to give BMW their 150th BTCC win.
In fact, the day got off to a very promising start for Cobra drivers with Jake Hill taking a win in Race 1 to strengthen his challenge for this years BTCC Drivers Championship and give BMW their 149th BTCC victory.
At the end of three breathless – and breathtaking – races Ash Sutton had narrowly extended his lead at the top of the Drivers’ standings after both he and title rival Tom Ingram took a win each, whilst Jake Hill remains in contention thanks to two podiums.
Drivers using Cobra seats won a brace of races – in addition to Tom Ingram winning Race 2, the final reverse grid race was won by Rory Butcher in his Gazoo Racing Toyota.
