Cobra
Seats are fitted in a vehicle using a subframe. A subframe is an interface
between the unique fixing points of a specific vehicle model and the
base of a cobra seat.
All steel framed Cobra seats are base mounted using four M8 fixing
points and all composite seats are side mounted only with similar
M8 fixing points. Road seats are attached to adjustable slides, either
supplied with a Cobra subframe or by using an adaption interface with
the vehicles existing slides. All competition seats should be firmly
fixed to the vehicle chassis for safety. Consult your local motorsport
sanctioning body for advice, as regulations differ between markets
and countries
We manufacture subframes to suit most vehicles, so please check with
your local Cobra dealer for a full fitment list or for further information.
