28 APRIL: BTCC DONINGTON PARK.
There have been an awful lot of changes to the face of The British Touring Car Championship in 2024 – not least a field reduced to 20 runners, but some things haven’t changed: Half the field have chosen to put their trust in Cobra seats … and in the first meeting of the season at Donington Park the winners of all three races jumped out of Cobra seats to enjoy their moments of triumph.
2022 British Touring Car Drivers’ Champion Tom Ingram got his 2024 campaign off to a dream start guiding his Team Bristol Street Motors Hyundai i30N to wins in the two opening races of the season, while Aiden Moffat took full advantage of the confidence provided by his Cobra seat to steer his LKQ Euro Car Parts with SYNETIQ Toyota Corolla GR Sport to first place in the final race of the day.
Add those three “top steps” to a second place for Colin Turkington and two thirds for Jake Hill and the 2024 season got off to a great start for drivers using Cobra seats!
