Background – Cobra Seats Limited is a UK based manufacturer specialising in motorsport, automotive, stadia, military and commercial seating. Our customer base is 60% UK and 40% export, mainly B2B.
A recent energy review in light of the current energy crisis has identified an opportunity for a Solar PV installation to help mitigate future energy costs and reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
Opportunity – The company owns the 11,000 sq ft building and has undertaken a structural survey of the roof to ensure Solar PV is feasible. The space available and roof structure suggests an installation of 95KWp Photovoltaic System is appropriate and we are seeking proposals for the supply and installation of such a system.
Proposals to include prices for supply, installation, and commissioning. Proposals must also include the specification of the plant to be installed.
Site visits if required can be arranged with the project manager detailed below
Capability – Suppliers are invited to provide the most cost effective and energy efficient solution. Examples of similar installations undertaken in the past three years to demonstrate capability to design, install and commission this project.
Selection Criteria – The contract will be awarded to the most cost-effective tender that meets the requirements of the company and can be delivered within the planned timescales.
Payment Terms – Payment will be made in stages and agreed as part of the contract discussions. Anticipated payment terms to be included in the prospective supplier’s quotation.
Cost – To be stipulated in the prospective supplier’s quotation
Timescales - Completed tenders to be received by the companies Project Manager via email no later than 12:00 noon on the 21st November 2022.
Project installation timescale will need to be completed before 31st March 2023
