COMING SOON. YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO BUY DIRECT FROM COBRA SEATS
COBRA's online shop will now be launched in mid January 2021 - that's a little later than expected, but after a 40 year wait for our first retail venture we thought that it was worthwhile to take an extra couple of weeks to ensure the site delivers the service you expect from Cobra Seats!
For over 40 years Cobra Seats has been manufacturing exclusively in the United Kingdom, earning a reputation that unites innovative technology, quality of design and functional elegance.
Cobra also has carefully selected distributors who can offer expert advice on which seat suits you and your car.
Cobra's factory shop is not intended to compete with our distributors, nor with the first quality seats that they offer.
Cobra's factory shop will offer a stripped down experience for those who want quality seats at discounted prices and are willing to accept seats which may have minor faults (as specified on the individual product description on the website).
All of the seats sold in Cobra's factory shop will be either customer returns, sim racing seats without FIA labels, seats with minor imperfections, seats that have been to our trade shows and cannot be sold as new, or production over-runs.
Customers of Cobra Direct must also understand that, because of the nature of the site and the discounted prices, Cobra cannot provide additional technical advice or offer any customisation of these products.
The description of the goods sold in Cobra's factory shop will include a description of the nature of non-compliance of the goods (the reason why they are not being sold as first quality) and your decision to purchase any factory second product will deem your acceptance of the flaws listed in the description.
Of course, at Cobra Seats we support BTCC drivers who use our seats (and let’s face it, we have a lot of drivers to cheer – well over half the BTCC drivers this year chose to use our seats), but that doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate the success of drivers who haven’t (yet!) chosen Cobra Seats.
A collaboration between BTCC, Cobra Seats and Schroth has resulted in the development of a seat net that “squares the circle” of providing optimum geometry in the car and optimum safety when needed most.
It may have featured an experimental qualifying format, but the cream of this year’s BTCC Championship still rose to the top.
