JAKE HILL STILL IN FOUR WAY BATTLE FOR TITLE

Race three saw Josh Cook claim his tenth BTCC career victory at Thruxton.

However, frustration in race one and disappointment in race two probably means that Josh Cook has too much ground to make up to make a play for the Drivers’ Championship. Meanwhile, Colin Turkington’s second place in race three gives him a six-point lead ahead of Ash Sutton in the driver’s rankings with just six races to go and Tom Ingram only trails Colin by 18 points. 62, 63, 500, 282: COLIN TURKINGTON PLAYS THE NUMBERS GAME AT SNETTERTON

It was a weekend to remember for BMW (and – by association – for Cobra Seats) at the latest British Touring Car Championship round at Knockhill.

Jake Hill was fastest in qualifying and converted his pole position to a win in race one before going on to finish second in races two and three to claim his best weekend to date in the BTCC. Meanwhile George Gamble claimed his maiden victory in race three … and Colin Turkington ended the weekend at the top of the standings in one of the closest seasons we can remember.
